Assistex Matching Game Activity Board | Memory Card Game for Dementia & Alzheimer's Activities

This Assistex Matching Game Activity Board offers adults a picture-matching activity with five themes: flowers, trees, ocean life, pets, and birds. The set pairs five boards with 37 picture cards and includes card slots to hold the matching pieces in place. Explore a favorite subject, match a few pictures, or use the included conversation prompts at the person's own pace, without requiring a particular memory or response.

We carry this at EOWD because the games and tools that worked for our family — the matching activities, the tactile engagement, the visual stimulation — reappeared when we were helping navigate our mother's changing world after her dementia diagnosis. Not because dementia and autism are the same thing, but because each person deserves dignity and thoughtful support that adapts to their communication, abilities, and needs as they develop, decline, or fluctuate over time or from moment to moment.

Tracy Peterson - Neurodivergent, Autism Mama, Founder of EOWD Autism Living

This matching game supports optional hands-on activity; it does not treat dementia, Alzheimer's, or any cognitive condition, slow or reverse cognitive decline, or replace professional care. Offer the activity as a choice and provide supervision appropriate to the person's needs. Inspect the boards and cards before use, keep loose pieces away from anyone who may mouth or swallow them, and stop if the activity causes distress.

A flower to notice, a bird to match, a subject worth pausing over.
Explore a picture-matching set with room for communication, quiet, and personal choice.
