Wooden Fidget Busy Board | Dementia-Friendly Tactile Activity for Adults & Memory-Care Households

A buckle to fasten, beads to slide, a spinner to turn: this wooden busy board from Assistex brings familiar hand movements together in one portable activity. Designed for adults, it offers tactile exploration at the person's own pace, without a score or a required sequence. Its metal carrying handle makes it easy to move between activity spaces.

We carry this at EOWD because adults deserve hands-on activities that respect their interests and choices. For caregivers selecting an activity for someone they support, this board offers access to several different components in one place. Adults choosing it for themselves can explore the features they enjoy, while caregivers can offer it as an optional activity within home or memory-care routines, following the person's preferences.

This board supports hands-on tactile activity; it does not treat dementia, Alzheimer's, or any medical condition or replace professional care. Individual responses vary. Use with supervision appropriate to the person's needs and abilities. Inspect the board for damage and loose or small parts before use, and stop use if it causes distress or presents a choking or other safety risk.

A familiar motion can be a welcome place to begin.
Explore a hands-on option for the moments when tactile activity feels right.
