Cats & Flowers Large Piece Jigsaw Puzzle | 63 Pieces for Dementia & Memory Care Activities

Some puzzles are made for speed. This one is made for something slower — a quiet afternoon, a familiar image, and the kind of side-by-side time that doesn't need words to mean something. The Cats & Flowers Large Piece Jigsaw Puzzle from Assistex is designed specifically for seniors and adults who benefit from larger pieces and a comfortable grip, with 63 oversized, thick cardboard pieces. The cats-and-flowers scene is vibrant and mature — rich with color and detail that invites a second look and, sometimes, a shared memory.

The build-in-the-box design means the puzzle box itself serves as the tray — keeping setup simple and pieces contained so the focus stays where it belongs. A conversation-prompt flyer and a cat picture book are included, providing caregivers with a gentle starting point for connection that extends beyond the activity itself.

We carry this at EOWD because we've seen what happens when the right image lands in front of the right person. Our mother had a lifelong love of cats — and in the later stages of her dementia, a cat on a page could reach her in ways that a conversation couldn't. We don't know what image will be the one for your person. But we know that having options matters, and this one is worth having on the shelf.

This puzzle is a supportive activity tool — not a medical intervention, therapeutic device, or treatment for dementia, Alzheimer's, or any cognitive condition. It does not slow, reverse, or treat cognitive decline or replace professional care. Use with supervision appropriate to the person's needs, inspect pieces before use, and keep loose pieces away from anyone who may mouth or swallow them. Follow the person's preferences and stop if the activity causes distress.

A cat among the flowers, a quiet afternoon, and time to follow your own pace.
