Squishy Time Rescue | Hands-On Telling Time Game

What does twelve o’clock look like on a clock face, and how much time has passed since the last turn? Squishy Time Rescue brings these everyday time questions into a sea-themed board game, with a yellow fidget clock, three card packs, and six sea-creature squishies. Players choose a card, work through its time question, and move a Squishy Pal to the matching board color after a correct answer, with the aim of getting all the Squishy Pals home.

We carry this at EOWD because understanding time can involve more than looking at a row of numbers. A clock face to explore, a visual question to consider, and a colorful path to follow offer different points of entry for autistic and other neurodivergent learners. For people choosing an activity for themselves, and families or educators supporting someone else, this is an option for practicing at an individual pace without making age or spoken answers a measure of understanding.

This game offers optional telling-time practice and tactile play; it does not guarantee skill development, treat autism or learning differences, or replace individualized educational or professional support. Follow the manufacturer’s age guidance of 4 years and older and provide supervision appropriate to individual needs. Small pieces and squishies may pose a choking risk; keep them away from anyone who may mouth or swallow objects. Squishies are not chew tools. Inspect components before use, adapt communication and assistance without requiring speech, and stop if the activity causes discomfort or distress.

A little clock exploration can become an underwater rescue mission. Find a place at the table for time questions, colorful creatures, and a pace that suits the learner.
