Super Reader Bundle | Vocabulary & Comprehension Games

A word can be familiar on its own and take on something different inside a story. The Super Reader Bundle offers three ways to spend time with words and meaning: Vocabulary Words, King Komodo, and Comprehension Codes. Word cards, island maps, and rainbow fidget mats bring tactile choices to activities involving vocabulary, sight words, high-frequency words, inference, main idea, theme, and story elements.

We carry this at EOWD because choosing reading activities is about the individual, not the number on a grade label. An autistic or other neurodivergent learner may enjoy exploring a word, considering a story question, or reaching for a different game altogether. For ourselves and the people we support, we value having options that make room for interests, communication preferences, and the time someone wants to spend with an activity.

These games offer optional reading practice and tactile activity; they do not guarantee learning outcomes, treat autism or learning differences, or replace individualized educational or professional support. Grade labels identify the supplier’s card groupings, not a required age or reading level. Follow each game’s manufacturer age and safety guidance, supervise according to individual needs, and keep small pieces away from anyone who may mouth or swallow them. Fidget mats are not chew tools. Adapt communication and assistance without requiring speech, inspect components before use, and stop if an activity causes discomfort or distress.

Set out an island map, choose a word, or consider a question about a story. Explore three different reading games with room to follow the learner’s curiosity.
